Ecological Homestay: Muyu Study Room Homestay is located beside the Chao Teng Keng Stream, with the national forest on the opposite bank. The area is rich in ecology and experiences minimal human interference. In 2006, the stream was permanently protected to safeguard fish, resulting in clear, unpolluted waters upstream, abundant with raptors and various bird species, as well as plentiful fish, shrimp, and crabs. The conservation efforts also include pangolins and stone martens. The architecture features a South French style, reminiscent of Rothenburg.
Introduction
Muyu Study Room Homestay originated from the story of two dreamers. These two individuals, who love the mountains and enjoy hiking, wished to live in harmony with nature for the rest of their lives, nurturing seedlings and children alike, while endlessly weeding. Their persistence in weeding for over a decade has resulted in an increasing number of fireflies, bringing to life their dream of peaceful mountain living.
Determined to do something silly for a lifetime, they left their public sector jobs to embrace farming. They applied for a farmhouse in 2014, which took five years to build. Completed in 2019, it was initially intended solely for family use, but they later realized that everyone has different dreams. Thus, after 20 years of pursuing their aspirations, Muyu Study Room Homestay was born, embodying a life of learning and growth in the sun and rain, reflecting the diverse paths of its hosts.
