Located in Jiufen and Jinguashi is Taiwan's last remaining cluster of miner accommodations. They were converted from traditional stone houses while preserving their original style. My sister provides local guided tours, offering experiences such as gold panning with miners and guided readings by authors from the mountain town.In the Water-Gold-Nine mountain town, guests can immerse themselves in rich natural ecology and cultural exploration, all while enjoying the beauty of life.
Introduction
Our homestay has been converted from miner dormitories that date back several decades. It retains the local stone houses constructed from quartz and andesite, situated in Jinguashi with a view of the sea.
We offer independent vacation spaces that foster the spirit and dedication of family and friends in creating traditional local cuisine. Grandpa grows vegetables and raises pigs, grandma raises chickens and picks greens, neighbors collaborate to make taro balls, cousins go fishing, and my sister oversees the kitchen, skillfully preparing authentic Jinguashi meals—each bite is truly unforgettable. Breakfast features our own deliciously marinated dishes.
This is a homestay you absolutely cannot miss when visiting this mountain town!"
